Hi there, I’m Katie—a designer, mom, and founder of Katie Davis Design.
Most of the time, you’ll find me toggling between site visits, softball practice, and sourcing wallpaper samples. I love what I do — creating homes that feel both beautiful and lived in — and I’m grateful every day that I get to do it.
This space is a bit different.
It’s where I’ll share what doesn’t always make it into the portfolio: behind-the-scenes peeks at installs, the funny stories that happen along the way, things I’m loving (or learning), and a few glimpses of life outside the studio.
Not a big reveal, not a brand new “side” of me — just a slower, more personal place to share notes, swap stories, and stay inspired.
You might find a photo snapped in bad lighting, but too good not to post. Notes from a Mahjong night. Thoughts from the carpool line. A design book I’ve actually been reading (yes, I really read them!). Dispatch from a sourcing trip across the pond. And definitely a few messy moments — because real life isn’t always photo-ready, and that’s the good stuff.
